I figured I better finally blog this, since I always seem to forget how to do this and end up having to rediscover the process when I need to go through the process again. The Colorize tool is located in the Edit menu in Photoshop. ![]() How does it work With the help of the program you apply color strokes to a photo and then the color-editing process is finished automatically. So, with the help of colorized software, it is possible to convert your black and white pictures into color ones. Just note that playing with the Saturation and Lightness settings can start to distort the image by losing the original white and blacks in the image. Colorized software is used to change the natural colors of a photo. You can now tweak the settings to get the exact colorization you're looking for.Colors in real life are mixtures of many other colors. Use a brush with a super soft edge to paint the areas you want to color with this layer. Name this layer after the color you want to use (we’ll call this one Skin Tone) and set the Layer Blend mode to Color. The moment you turn on Colorize, Photoshop changes the Hue to 0 degrees and the Saturation is 25 percent, which turns the entire image to a low. The "Saturation" value is preset to a value that is consistent with the elements on the current screen. Once your photo is open, create a new layer above the photo. NOTE: If you want to limit your changes to only one layer, check the "Use Previous Layer to Create Clipping Mask" option, otherwise all layers below the new adjustment layer in your Layers Panel will have the mask applied to it.
